New Farm
 While one of the trendiest suburbs of Brisbane, New Farm still retains some of its original charm as one of the founding suburbs of Brisbane.For instance, take a stroll through the beautiful and child friendly New Farm park (a quintessential Brisbane experience) on your way to the recently refurbished Brisbane Powerhouse which boasts a multitude of attractions including; live theatre, comedy, and music and the award winning Watt Modern Dining restaurant. Indeed New Farm is known for its culinary delights. Vespa Pizza and Little Larder, both situated on Myrther Road, are well worth a visit, as are the Jan Power’s Farmers Markets (held every second and fourth Saturday of the month). New Farm is very conveniently situated, being a mere 10-minute drive from the City. However, if driving is not your forte, the area also has easy access by way of public transport, with buses and ferries travelling to and from New Farm every 15 minutes. |
